2.4 Flow and Oxygen Settings Adjustment

2.4.1 Initial Settings

2.4.2 Changing Flow Settings

Adjust ﬂow to desired setting and

read ﬂow meter.

Set desired oxygen mixture by

opening O

% knob and read analyzer

display.

Adjust ﬂow if it has changed.

Adjust ﬂow to new desired ﬂow rate. Readjust oxygen concentration to

desired setting and wait for analyzer

to equilibrate. Temporarily disconnect

patient circuit if necessary.
